Life Lessons from Two Worlds Is Now Available on BiblioBoard

I am delighted to share another important milestone in the journey of my memoir, Life Lessons from Two Worlds: My Jamaican-American Journey.

On August 12, 2026, I received confirmation that my book had successfully “moved into the library space” and is now available through Indie New Jersey: Discover Books From Local Authors on the BiblioBoard Library platform.

This special collection showcases books written by independent authors and makes them available digitally to patrons of participating libraries throughout New Jersey. Through the BiblioBoard Library mobile and web platforms, thousands of potential new readers may now have an opportunity to discover and read my memoir with just the click of a button.

Libraries have always represented more than shelves filled with books. They are gateways to knowledge, history, culture, imagination, and personal growth. For independent authors, libraries also provide an invaluable opportunity to connect with readers who may not otherwise encounter our work.

A Jamaican-American Story of Resilience and Purpose

Life Lessons from Two Worlds: My Jamaican-American Journey chronicles my path from humble beginnings in Jamaica to building a new life and career in the United States.

It is a story about immigration, family, education, leadership, resilience, adaptability, and the pursuit of purpose. It explores the opportunities and difficulties of navigating two cultures while preserving the values and formative experiences that shaped me.

Throughout the memoir, I reflect on the people, choices, setbacks, sacrifices, and unexpected turns that influenced my journey. I also share the life lessons I distilled from those experiences—lessons that I hope will encourage readers to examine their own journeys and recognize the wisdom contained in both their successes and struggles.

Although the story is deeply personal, its themes are universal. Many readers will recognize the desire to create a better life, overcome limitations, remain grounded in their principles, and leave the door open for others who are still climbing.
